i make music.

For the past 11 years, I've consistently recorded music with whatever recording equipment I could get my hands on. I've produced literally hundreds of songs, in a diverse spectrum of genres. I've featured some of my music here for your enjoyment. Feel free to download these songs and play them wherever you like. Everything is free - That's how I stick it to the man.

daydreams

These instrumental pieces were recorded almost as diary entries. When I wanted to express a feeling, and could not put it into actual words, I'd turn on my recording machines and play whatever came to me. Usually I would start by playing guitar, and just seeing what came out, and then I would layer on more instrumentation to flesh out the piece. The only rule was that I could never delete anything I recorded, so everything was done in one take, and remained true to exactly how I was feeling in that moment. I often found that this form of expression better depicted my feelings than any collection of words in a diary entry ever could.

ideas, fragments

Of all the music I have ever created, I'd say 95% of it consists of pieces of music such as these - songs that are half-finished, and that I may re-visit one day, or I'll just let exist as just what they are: poignant impressions, experiments, lessons learned.

archives (1999-2005)

These songs are the products of thoughts and feelings surrounding issues I was faced with during my high school years - everything from girls, to church, to suicidal friends, and whatever random thoughts and ideas seemed important to me at the time.
