my Jesus i love thee [2010] download
This is a cover of a hymn that was written by William Ralph Featherston, in 1861 when he was only sixteen years old. My sister Hollie was in town when I was recording this, so I got her to sing and play flute. I am hoping to continue recording covers of my favorite hymns, along with other musicians and hymn-lovers, if I can find them.

I wrote this song when I first moved to Georgia. It was a reflection of my anxiety brought about by my struggle to find adequate work. The lyrics were compiled from a jumble of one-liners taken from various diary entries from that period.
